– 3 months remuneration for the employee i.e. over PLN 40 000, reputation of the company towards clients who were directly cooperating with the employee, reputation of the manager, possibly the amount of compensation claimed by the employee through a civil court proceeding against the manager
SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE MATTER, INCLUDING THE REACHED SETTLEMENT
The employee filed a complaint to the management board of the company on the violation of his personal rights by the manager who dismissed him due to poor sales figures. As a result of the mediator’s intervention the manager recognised his error, which in reality was much less than the employee claimed. The employee understood that he would lose more than gain through conflict with his superior and withdrew the complaint. The parties worked together with mutual benefit up to the end of the three month termination period and parted on good terms.
